Income from the tourism sector in June grew by 15%, and amounted to 347 million euros, – the Cyprus Tourism Organization (CTO) reports. At the same time, for the first half of the year this figure grew by 20%, compared with the data for 2016. Thus, the total contribution of the tourism sector reached a record level of 1 billion euros.

According to statistics, British citizens spend the most on summer vacations – an average of about 800 euros. While the Israelis are limited to the amount of 630 euros, and the Russians are willing to spend slightly more than an average foreign tourist – 760 euros.
